Nirvana have added to their Instinct paramotor range with a basic model, the Comfort Line NS200.

It uses a Simonini Mini 2 plus engine with Nirvana tuning, which gives 27HP at 6,800rpm. Its average fuel consumption (which Nirvana point out is affected by the glider used and the pilot's weight) is 3 to 3.5 litres per hour, and it comes with an integrated 14-litre fuel tank.

The NS200 uses a two-blade foldable 130cm carbon propeller with a central bolt, though a three-blade prop can be ordered as an alternative.

It uses Nirvana's CIR: electronic ignition system with pre-ignition (the unit can also be started manually) and battery charging regulation. It has a microprocessor-controlled start/stop button and a flying time logger and rpm meter output.

The body is a self-supporting laminated shell of carbon and kevlar and the dismantlable reinforced frame is aluminium with carbon-laminated struts.

The NS200's harness has been designed to absorb vibrations, and has an under-seat reserve container.

The NS200 weighs 23kg, and takes pilot weights from 80-160kg, so can be used for tandems too.

Optional extras include a rescue system, 3-blade prop, wheel box and bag for the assembled paramotor.
