Op 4:00 gaat het fout. Ze ziet dat hij dan in zijn zitje probeert te komen.
Test flew someone's new PPG unit. Found that a large gap between cage sections did NOT have netting span the greater than 6 inch gap. Low hook in also contributed to the catastrophic failue in that my body weight was not far enough behind the hook in Center of gravity.
Each time I looked up at my risers, I saw the prop cage was within 1 inch of my risers and occasionally touching them. This placed my hand inside the cage gap being very close to the prop. I had previously flown this unit the same day and had let off the throttle for a few seconds which let the cage drop back to a normal position before i let go of the brake handles so I could change position from standing to sitting. This requires to physically grabbing the bottom of the harness to get my butt into the seat. This video showes my second flight on this unit which you can hear the moment the toggle gets sucked into the prop. Free Spirit OhioPPG.com is the manufacturer of this unit. This had plenty of power for me but the large spaces in the cage without netting causes a serious safety risk.
