APCO have made an extra large yet lightweight (4 kg) version of their Mayday rescue parachute for the expanding PPG trike market.
The Mayday 28 UL has a special slider to reduce the opening shock
The Mayday 28 UL has been EN tested for loads of up to 340kg, with which its sink rate is 6.3 m/s.
The maximum deployment speed of the parachute is 140 km/hr, and it is equipped with a special slider to reduce the opening shock.
The Mayday 28 UL has a double universal bridle which will fit most trike models, but custom-made bridles can be ordered where necessary.
