Peter Schulz and his tandem passenger Kathrin Pinkpank spent five hours above the German capital, Berlin, during a 184.5 km full circumnavigation of the city on 11 September 2010.
The flight has been ratified by the FAI as the World record for the longest closed circuit flight without landing.
They flew aboard a Powerplay Sting 250 tandem paraglider, powered by a Fresh Breeze Sportix 122 motor.
Peter Schulz' name appears a lot in the 'microlights and paramotors' category of the FAI record pages. In fact, he holds seven current world paramotor records, all of them carried out in 2010.
The RPF1E records are for the 'electric' category, the flight on 21 August being the result of another Swing / Fresh Breeze collaboration, in the form of the Naja 21 paraglider with electric Silent-X motor from Fresh Breeze.
